Wigwam seeking new Chairperson

Wigwam are currently seeking a committed Chairperson to oversee our board.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead Wigwam as we enter our 20th year of operation in 2019. Our current Chair Debbie Aldous, who is stepping down, noted that “whilst we have grown our services and support in recent years I’m really proud that we have been able to retain the ‘personal touch’ that we have always prided ourselves on. The Wigwam membership really does feel like a family”.

Andy Graham our Operations Manager, added “At Wigwam we want Guernsey to be a place where differences are accepted, where each child’s uniqueness is recognized and where opportunities exist to enable children and young people with additional needs to consistently reach their full potential. With over 100 member families, and plans in place to increase our membership base, we feel that we are able to play a key role in making this vision a reality”.

Anyone with an interest in this voluntary role is invited to read the role description and contact Debbie on 07839 100506 or e mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
