Autism Guernsey launch their new outreach service

 Autism Guernsey in conjunction with the National Autistic Society launched a brand new outreach service for children and adults with autism. The aim is to close the current gap in States’ service provision which currently leaves families and individuals affected by autism with little support, particularly in the home environment. The service will be run by Anne Blondel, the new outreach coordinator, offering professional support in the home and where required co-ordinate and engage with other agencies.

Autism Guernsey are keen to hear from those interested about their ideas how such a service would best meet the needs of individuals and families effected by autism. A serious of workshops will be held:

WORKSHOP ONE: FOCUS ON 13 TO 18 YEAR OLDS

Date Wednesday 7th August  

Time 6.30pm-8.30pm

WORKSHOP TWO: FOCUS ON CHILDREN UP TO AGE 12

Date Saturday 17th August

Time 2.00pm-4.30pm

WORKSHOP THREE: FOCUS ON ADULTS

Date Sunday 18th August

Time 2.00pm-4.30pm
