What Can I do?

Wigwam Support Group will be joining other disabled islanders and carers on the steps of the Royal Court at 9am on Wednesday 27th November 2013 to greet Deputies as they arrive for the big debate on the Disability and Inclusion Strategy.

But because of the barriers they face, many other disabled people and carers simply cannot join us…

Could you be there with us?

Show disabled islanders and carers that they matter, and ensure our Deputies know how you feel, by joining us on the steps of the Royal Court.

You could be there to represent a disabled person or carer in your family.  Or a friend. Or someone you have really connected with in our videos.  Or just be there for you.

Be at the Royal Court (by the sunken garden at the top of Smith Street) at 9am on November 27th and please print out one of these banners to bring with you.  You only need to be there for a maximum of 30 minutes – Deputies aim to be in their seats in the Assembly by 9.25am latest.

Afterwards you can follow the progress of the debate on Twitter.  Or listen in on the radio on 1115AM (Medium Wave)"
